🌀Skill Card

To play a skill card, the Starlight performing the skill must have a Willpower capacity equal to or greater than the skill’s Willpower requirement.

Once confirmed, the skill card is played as a normal.

  • The skill is performed by your current active Starlight, unless otherwise specified by a card effect.

  • Skill cards remain on the battlefield until the end of the turn, unless removed by an effect.


Anatomy

  1. Limit: Ammout of copies that you can play each turn.

  2. Name: Skill unique identifier.

  3. Willpower requiremnt.

  4. Card type.

  5. Ability.

  6. Skill type (see below)

  7. Artists credit .

  8. Skill color: indicates the Skill color also the damage color done by the skill if any.

  9. Collection Details.

Skill Types

There are two main types of Skill cards in the game:

💥 Damage Skill

Damage Skills are used to inflict harm on rival Starlights Shield Points. They can deal two types of damage: - Physical Damage - Ranged Damage

  • The damage type deal by a skill belong to the damage type that appear on the skill damage area.

  • Unspecified damage type deal by an skill is always the same type that the skill damage type.

  • Unspecified damage color deal by a skill is always the same color of that skill.

Focus skill

Focus Skills are used to enhance strategy, manipulate effects, or support your Starlights. These may include: - Buffs or stat enhancements - Card manipulation (draw, search, recycle) - Tactical control (redirect, delay, or disable effects)

⚠️ A Focus Skill cannot be used by a Starlight that does not share a color with the skill. Color alignment is required for activation—if the Starlight and the Focus Skill do not match in color, the skill cannot be played.


  • Each player may play up to 3 skill cards per turn from their hand. (Normal link)

  • Each skill is played as a link. After the skill and any effects triggered by that link are resolved, the link ends.

  • Skill cards remain on the battlefield until the end of the turn, unless removed by an effect.

  • Once the third normal link has been resolved, the player's turn ends.


Playing Counter Cards.

  • Counter skills can be used in response to some actions in any momment.

  • Once per turn you can set a counter card face down in your counter area. (Helping to avoid reach the hand limit.

  • A Counter facedow can only be activated on a turn different from the one they were set.

  • When activated in rival, turns counter skills are played in a extra link.

  • When activated in your turn, if it was played from your hand, it consumes a normal link.

  • Counter skills are typically activated when their condition is fulfilled, as described on the card.


🎯Target of the skill

✅ Primary Target

  • By default, skill cards target your rival’s active Starlight. This is referred to as the primary target.

  • However, this targeting may change if the skill card itself or another effect specifies a different target. Always follow the instructions on the card or effect when determining the correct target.

Secondary Targets

Secondary targets refer to other Starlights affected by the skill, aside from the primary target. These may receive indirect effects, damage, or status changes depending on the skill’s description.
